Ai-Ai delas Alas shared that she and Kris Aquino are finally talking again, as she noted that time indeed heals all wounds.
Delas Alas briefly spoke about getting in touch with Aquino again on the February 12 episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” when she was asked whether she had been able to be in contact with the Queen of all Media.
Abunda was referring to delas Alas’ earlier admission, where the latter said in an ambush interview last January that she sent a message to Aquino, but didn’t receive a reply. She nonetheless expressed her appreciation for the actress-host.
“Okay kami. Nag-usap na kami. Sabi nga, time heals all wounds. Of course, I wish her well because she is my friendship all the way,” she said, without delving deeper into the topic.
Also in the same ambush interview, delas Alas clarified that although she had sent a message to Aquino, she wasn’t sure whether the latter had changed her phone number.
“Huwag na natin pag-usapan ‘yun. Sana okay siya. Wala na ‘yun. Let’s all move on, past na ‘yun,” she said.
Delas Alas and Aquino used to be close friends, but their relationship turned sour sometime in the 2010s. Both of them remained mum about the reason for their fallout.
As Kris Aquino moves to a new home after a six-week hospital stay, she expressed her gratitude to her ex-boyfriend, Dr. Mike Padlan.
Aquino celebrated her 55th birthday on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, and hoped to live long enough to be 60 and to hold senior citizen and person with disability (PWD) cards. She spent her birthday in the company of her sons Josh and Bimby, as well as close friends.
