ILOILO City – Facing murder charges, a watchman (tanod) was arrested yesterday in his house in Barangay Pantalan Nabaye, Ajuy, Iloilo.
Police served a warrant of arrest to 63-year-old Ariston Aguinido Sr. around 12:15 p.m. He was taken to the municipal police station.
Judge Oscar Leo Sancho Billena of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 66 (Barotac Viejo, Iloilo) ordered the suspect’s arrest. No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Aguinido’s apprehension was carried out by joint elements of the Philippine National Police Anti-Kidnapping Group Visayas and the Ajuy municipal police station./PN
