KALIBO, Aklan – The province of Aklan recorded five new cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) on Oct. 21.
According to the Provincial Health Office (PHO), three of the new cases were residents of this town. One was from the municipality of Numancia and the other one from Nabas.
Four of new cases had exposure to a local COVID-19 case, according to the PHO.
The other one was a locally stranded individual.
As of Oct. 21 Aklan had 146 cumulated COVID-19 cases of which 119 already recovered.
With seven deaths due to the disease, Aklan currently has 20 active coronavirus disease cases left./PN
