PANAY, Capiz – Thirteen illegal fishing suspects were caught in the waters of this municipality.
The following would be charged with violating Panay Municipal Ordinance No. 03-02 series of 2003:
* Eddie Candelario, 48, boat captain
* boat crew Liberato Gavaje, 50; Rayman Albarez, 28; Jerry Anunial, 47; Joey Mangubat, 32; Rodelio Aguirre, 44; Janjan Lopez, 38; Albert Barlas, 42; Henry Navarro, 49; Nonoy Candelario, 32; Roger Villaruel, 27; Domingo Arevalo, 63; and Lito Candelario, 43.
All of the suspects were residents of Barangay Culasi, Roxas City.
Policemen recovered from the fishermen nets and some 50 kilos of fish.
The suspects’ boat was impounded, too./PN
