MANILA – Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac mayor Alice Guo has reportedly expressed her desire to surrender to the authorities but is fearful of her safety.
According to Atty. Stephen David, his client mentioned this to him during a conversion on August 22.
“Marami kasing threat, internal at saka external (but) we don’t have to elaborate on that.
David, however, is hopeful that Guo will soon surrender, especially after seeing the security being provided to her sister, Shiela, when she was sent back to the Philippines last week.
“Nakikita naman niya ‘yung security ni Shiela. I think may proof naman na secured si Shiela saka mas relaxed ngayon si Shiela doon sa kanyang kalagayan,” David said.
Meanwhile, David said his client are ready to face the new money laundering charges filed with the Department of Justice by the National Bureau of Investigation, Presidential Organized Crime Commission, and the Anti-Money Laundering Council.
‘Yung totoo kasi sa akin para kay Shiela, ‘yung katotohanan will set her free, kasi ganoon talaga,” David said.
