ANNE CURTIS was supposed to visit her “little family” in Dubai when her flight was rerouted back to Italy due to the ongoing airstrikes in the Middle East following the continuous attacks of the US and Israel in Iran, and retaliation by Iran forces in US-allied states in the region.
Curtis was on her way to the United Arab Emirates when high-speed jets prompted the pilot to reroute her flight back to Italy, as shared in a series of Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 1.
“Was on my way to meet my little fam in Dubai when I noticed a high speed jet flying beside us,” she said.
The actress shared that she also received a report that “all flights to the Middle East have been grounded” due to the ongoing conflict. She also sent a prayer to those affected by the clashes.
“I notice another one and next thing I knew, they announced we would be turning around and making our way back to Milan due to the airstrikes. All flights to the Middle East have been grounded,” she said. It was eventually reported that the Dubai International Airport was damaged by Iranian strikes.
“Praying for all the families in the Middle East. Sa mga kababayan natin, ingat po. Stay safe everyone. Hoping things ease soon,” she continued.
Curtis recently came from Italy to attend the Gucci show at the Milan Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026.
