ILOILO City – What two residents of Pototan, Iloilo argued about was not clear but it led to one shooting the other.
The 38-year-old Benjie Laquite of Barangay San Jose Ward (Poblacion) was hit on the left leg. He was confined at the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in the town.
Police were now searching for the suspect, the 46-year-old Antonio Penida of Barangay Naslo, Pototan, who fled after the incident.
A heated argument ensued between the two men while in Barangay San Jose Ward (Poblacion) around 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 15, police said./PN
