BACOLOD City – Accused of attacking a person in authority, a man was arrested in Barangay 6, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The 32-year-old resident Jay-ar Ledres faces a direct assault charge before the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in Cadiz City.
Officers from the Cadiz City police station caught Ledres on Saturday on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Jonne Frances Nifras issued on Jan. 12, a police report showed.
Ledres was detained at the Cadiz City police station lockup facility.
The court recommended a P14,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
