BACOLOD City – Two persons were caught in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Katilingban, Barangay Poblacion 2, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
Seven sachets of suspected shabu worth about P3,500 were recovered from fish vendor Dominic “Hapon” Pilante, 38, and live-in partner Sherlyn Politico, 31, a police report showed.
Pilante and Politico were arrested around 10:55 p.m. on Friday, the report further showed.
Drug paraphernalia were also recovered from their possession, added the police.
Pilante and Politico, detained at the La Carlota City police station lockup facility, were facing charges for violation of sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
