ASIALINK and UK Sports Juniors downed their respective foes to sustain their clean record in the 2018 Iloilo Basketball Club Association (IBCA) Invitational League at the Barangay Zamora gym in Iloilo City.
Asialink turned to Cedie Eraga, Jake Fuertes, Kent Louie Quitayen, Alexander Parcon, and Ian Doce to score a lopsided 79-59 victory over JRH Eagles on Tuesday night.
“We want to solidify our place in the top two since we are aiming for an outright quarterfinals seat,” said Asialink team manager Philip Doce Punzalan.
UK Sports Juniors tallied its fourth consecutive win by beating MBC Snipers 70-61. The squad also returned to the winning track with a 79-70 win over Pitbull City Proper.
At the end of the games, Asialink (5-0) stayed on top, followed by UK Sports Juniors (4-0), UK Sports Basketball Club (3-1), MBC Snipers (2-2), Legaspi Ballers (1-2), JRH Eagles (0-2), Pitbull City Proper (0-3), and Crossword (0-4).
Action resumes today with Crossword and JRH Eagles aiming for their first win and Legaspi Ballers and Pitbull City Proper trying to improve their placing./PN
