ILOILO City – Wanted for an assault charge, a 44-year-old farmer in Barangay Gibato, Dumarao, Capiz had been arrested.
The Dumarao police took Jovito Daquilanea Jr. in custody.
Daquilanea was charged with “direct assault upon an agent of authority,” a police report showed.
Officers served him with a warrant of arrest at around 12:15 p.m. on March 9.
Judge Jerson Almalbis of the 4th Municipal Circuit Trial Court (Dumarao) issued the warrant on June 21 last year yet.
The bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty has been set at P12,000./PN
