ILOILO City – A tricycle driver yielded three sachets of suspected shabu in the component city of Passi.
The 31-year-old Ronald “Pato” Pagayon was arrested in Barangay Man-it.
Aside from the suspected shabu, a P1,500 buy-bust money and a Honda CB125 tricycle were seized from him, a police report showed.
A resident of F. Palmares Street, Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Passi City, Pagayon was a “newly identified drug personality,” said Superintendent Norberto Delmas, Passi police chief.
Pagayon was detained at the Passi City police station lockup cell.
Acting on a tip they received via the local police’s text line, operatives from the Passi City police station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 staged the operation at around 11:10 a.m. on March 9./PN
