KALIBO, Aklan – Winners in the elementary and secondary categories of the Sinaot sa Calle it mga Inungang Ati were announced.

The New Buswang Elementary School led by Principal II Honey Lynn Trias won the Most Jolly award while the Estancia Elementary School led by Principal Mary Ann Alcedo, the Most Original award.

Kalibo Elementary School led by Principal Abe Joy Isaran, meanwhile, received two special awards: Most Artistic and Most Economical.

The Kalibo Pilot Elementary School led by Principal II Allan Relloto bagged the Most Colorful award.

In the secondary category, the Bakhaw Norte Integrated School led by school head Elnor Luna got the Most Original and Most Economical awards.

Linabuan National High School led by school head Merlyn Carillo bagged the Most Colorful award while the Aklan National High School for Arts and Trades led by school head Richard Flores, the Most Artistic and Most Jolly awards.

Kalibo I and II Public Schools District Supervisor Arlyn Regalado said schools from Kalibo District I and District II participated in the street dancing competition on Jan. 17, which is a part of the ongoing Ati-Atihan Festival. (Aklan Forum Journal/PN)
