ILOILO City – Two men sustained cuts and bruises on the face after several people including a waiter allegedly ganged up on them at a KTV bar.
Carlito Amarco, 27, and Elizer Laserna, 28, both from Barangay Tanza Ezperanza, City Proper told the police they were just having a drink at Rooftop Slam Bar in Barangay Hipodromo when attacked.
But the waiter – the 24-year-old Richard Osano – told a different story.
The two customers and Osano filed separate reports at Police Station 1.
Around 2 a.m. on Aug. 6, Amarco and Laserna said they requested a song but the operator told them to wait. Then Osano and several others suddenly mauled them, one police report stated.
Amarco and Laserna sustained wounds and bruises on the face, and complained of body pains.
Iloilo City Emergency Response team personnel applied first-aid treatment on them and advised them to seek further treatment.
Osano was arrested and turned over to Police Station 1.
In the other police report, Osano claimed Amarco and Laserna sang six songs, and then he passed the microphone to other customers.
The two then went to the cashier and insisted they wanted to sing some more. They also snapped at Osano and waitress Agnes Selbo, saying, “Gago kag gaga ka! Mango! Hangag,” the report showed.
When Osano went to their table to get an ice bucket, Laserna told him, “Waay ka kabalo sa Asia Brewery ako gaubra? Bal-an ko patakaran sang ilimnon, gago ka, hangag ka!” stated the report.
Laserna attempted to punch Osano but several other male customers attacked him, police said./PN
