ILOILO City – A resident of Zone 4, Barangay Concepcion-Montes, City Proper complained to the police about her two neighbors who she claimed railed against village officials.
Mediatrix Arevalo, 51, told the police the neighbors called her younger sister – Barangay Captain Madonna Martin – a “thief.”
Arevalo identified the neighbors as Winston Duco and Odel Odela.
According to Arevalo, she heard Duco and Odela say, “Wala pulos mga barangay officials. Ang kapitan subong diri kawatan,” at around 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 12.
Duco and Odela cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Arevalo said this has embarrassed and dismayed her younger sister./PN
