ILOILO City – Barangay officials in Botong, Oton, Iloilo have arrested an unruly and armed resident.
Manuelito Bonares was drunk when he was accosted at around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday in their village, a police report showed.
Village officials told the police they recovered from the 31-year-old local a 12-gauge shotgun and a kitchen knife.
Bonares face an alarm and scandal charge. It was not immediately clear as of this writing if he had a license to possess the shotgun.
