ILOILO City – The No. 5 most wanted man of Pilar, Bataan was arrested in Barangay Linaban, Hamtic, Antique, at 12:54 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6.
The suspect identified as alias “Ferdie,” 55, a laborer and a resident of Pilar, Bataan, was temporarily residing with his partner in Hamtic.
Operatives of the Hamtic Municipal Police Station (MPS), together with Pilar MPS and Bataan Police Provincial Office arrested the suspect by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of sexual assault under Article 266-A (2) of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Republic Act 7610.
Based on the arrest warrant issued and signed at Balanga City, Bataan on August 4, 2025, the court recommended a P200,000 bail for the accused’s temporary freedom.
Ferdie is currently under the custody of the Hamtic MPS pending turnover to the court concerned./PN
