ILOILO City – For failing to attend her court hearing, a 30-year-old woman was arrested in Barangay Flores yesterday.
Police said Jhonna Mae Navales of Barangay Rizal Pala-Pala failed to appear at her court hearing for her case for violation of Republic Act 9287, or an act increasing the penalties for illegal numbers games.
Navales was arrested around 11:30 a.m. through a bench warrant issued by Judge Rosario Abigail Dris-Villanueva of the Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 22.
She was taken to Police Station 1.
No bail bond was recommended for her temporary liberty./PN
