ILOILO City – Charged with falsification of public documents, a man was arrested in Barangay Ilaya, Dumangas, Iloilo.
The 52-year-old Manuel Siaotong was nabbed inside Ramon Duremdes District Hospital in Dumangas, a police report showed.
Siaotong – village chief of Barangay Tinorian, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo – was caught on the strength of a bench warrant around 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday, it added.
The court issued the warrant in relation to Siaotong’s alleged falsification of public documents over a mini-market project in Barangay Tinorian in May 2017.
Siaotong was detained./PN
