MANILA – Peter Joemel Advincula, the man who claimed to be “Bikoy” in the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” video series, returned to the protective custody of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

PNP – Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) director Maj. Gen. Amador Corpus said Advincula returned to their custody on May 27.

“Last May 27, bumalik na si ‘Bikoy’. He is now under protective custody. He voluntarily surrendered himself and requested for protective custody. He is now under investigation,” Corpus said.

Corpus added Advincula submitted his computer and cellphone to the authorities as evidences and the PNP-CIDG was currently documenting all of it as part of the investigation.

The PNP-CIDG sent requests to secure copies of closed-circuit television cameras’ footage from universities where Advincula said he met with those behind the video.

“Bikoy” earlier tagged President Rodrigo Duterte’s son Paolo Duterte, son-in-law Manases Carpio, and long-time aide Christopher Go in drug involvement but took back all his claims, saying the opposition put him up to it.

Advincula claimed the opposition Liberal Party and Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV were behind the videos and in a separate ouster plot against Duterte. /PN
