ILOILO City – Throwing a bottle during a household argument cost a woman her liberty, albeit temporarily.
The 53-year-old Mary Ann Cerbulles of Barangay San Roque, Jaro was detained at the district police station.
Her neighbor, 28-year-old Jennifer Lachica, accused Cerbulles of injuring her 2-year-old nephew, a police report showed.
During an argument in their house on Thursday, a drunken Cerbulles threw a bottle at her daughter, Lachica told the police.
The bottle hit and broke the glass window of Lachica’s house. Her nephew’s feet were wounded by the broken glass, said Lachica.
Cerbulles was detained at around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday but was released later that day, the police report stated./PN
