BACOLOD City – A 15-year-old boy from Barangay 19 was caught in possession of an improvised pen gun.
The weapon accidentally discharged while the boy was trying to show it to a friend, a spot report from the Police Regional Office 6 stated.
A certain Regie Maigue caught the minor and turned him and his weapon over to the Women and Children Protection Desk of Police Station 4.
The incident occurred at around 10:30 p.m. last Friday in Barangay Villamonte, the police report stated. No one was reported injured in the accidental gun discharge.
The boy was then turned over to the Social Development Center./PN
