ILOILO City – Two drunken brothers were detained at the La Paz police station after fighting each other.
The 32-year-old Remy and the 27-year-old Rechie — both surnamed Balhina and residents of Barangay Baldoza, La Paz — were arrested past midnight on June 30.
Both were having a drinking binge before getting into a brawl, a police report showed.
Their brother, 19-year-old Lonix Medina, placed them under citizen arrest and helped the officers take them to the police station.
Remy and Rechie sustained wounds. Iloilo City Emergency Response personnel treated them./PN
