ILOILO City – An antidrug operation in Barangay Cagban, New Lucena, Iloilo netted two brothers.
Orlando Travilla was 34 years old while brother Leonardo was 41. Both were detained at the New Lucena police station.
Orlando ranked No. 6 in the Iloilo Police Provincial Office’s list of suspected drug personalities, according to New Lucena police chief, Inspector Rewel Pablico.
Around 6 p.m. on Dec. 7, the brothers sold a plastic sachet of shabu to an undercover police officer for P500.
Pablico said the brothers also operated in the towns of Santa Barbara, Cabatuan and Janiuay.
The Travillas face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, specifically for illegal drug possession and sale./PN
