BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Traffic Authority (BTAO) will be coordinating with the City Legal Office (CLO) in easing traffic congestion on major streets such as Lopez Jaena, BBB Galo, and Burgos.
According to Police Major Junji Liba, BTAO head, his office has yet to receive any formal complaint but he cited factors that cause congestion in those areas. Among these were the following:
* merchandise displayed on the sidewalks of Lopez Jaena Street in Barangay 27
* illegal parking on Burgos Street leading to BBB Galo Street
* ambulant vending
The BTAO head said he will coordinate with the CLO for clearing operations./PN
