ROXAS City — Two persons were arrested in an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Banica, here.
Operatives of Roxas City police station’s Drug Enforcement Team nabbed Sheba Yun, 36 of Panit-an, Capiz and Joemel Barres of Barangay Lanot here.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Aron Palomo, city police chief, Yun was the target but Barres was with him when the buy-bust operation was carried out.
Police recovered seven sachets of suspected shabu, P500 buy-bust money, two mobile phones, wallets, and a motorcycle.
This was the second time Yun was busted; the first was in 2016, said Palomo.
Yun and Barres were taken to the city police station.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act would be filed, said Palomo./PN
