
GUIMARAS – A 19-year-old representative from the Municipality of Buenavista was crowned Miss Guimaras 2025 during the coronation night held on May 23.
Through her elegance, intelligence, and strong stage presence, Kirsten Marie Bosque won the hearts of both judges and thousands of spectators securing her the prestigious title.
Bosque’s victory marks another milestone for Buenavista, as the municipality claimed a grand slam victory during this highly anticipated pageant.
Gov. JC Rahman Nava, Cong. Lucille Nava, and Vice Gov. John Edward Gando led the crowning of the newly hailed queen.
The runners-up, meanwhile, are the following:
* 1st Runner-up – Zestah Shalom Espinosa (San Lorenzo)
* 2nd Runner-up – Shiela Muya (Buenavista)
* 3rd Runner-up – Anne Leslie Tacda (Nueva Valencia)
* 4th Runner-up – Renelyn Gellego (Nueva Valencia)
Muya also received the Best in Interview, Best in Festival Costume and Best in Advocacy Pitch awards, Espinosa was adjudged Best in Swimsuit and Tacda brought home the Best in Evening Gown and Miss Photogenic awards.
Miss Guimaras was one of the highlights of the Manggahan Festival 2025, celebrating not only the beauty and brilliance of Guimarasnon women but also the pride, talent, and unity of the province’s municipalities.
Last year, Buenavista’s Axyl Rose Gadian was crowned Miss Guimaras 2024.
Gadian, a native of Barangay New Poblacion, also earned the special awards Miss Photogenic and Fan Favorite. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English at Guimaras State University./PN
