ILOILO City – A house help was burned to death when fire razed her employer’s house in Barangay Jibao-an, Pavia, Iloilo yesterday.
House owner Felix Lebrilla identified the victim only as “Ive Joy” from Calinog town.
Lebrilla said the victim was with them for only two days before the fire. He said he did not know her surname.
According to Lebrilla, he met Ive Joy at the public plaza in Jaro district, this city and offered her a job as their house help.
Lebrilla called on the victim’s family to claim her body. He promised to shoulder the burial expenses./PN
