ILOLO City – In Barangay Carvasana, Calinog, Iloilo a construction worker got hacked.
The 31-year-old resident Aljean Celeste was hit on the chest. He was confined at the Dr. Ricardo S. Provido Memorial District Hospital.
Celeste’s drinking buddy, Arthur Lozada of Barangay Supanga, Calinog, was tagged the suspect, a police report showed.
Celeste and Lozada were having a drinking spree when a heated argument ensued.
Lozada attacked Celeste using a bolo around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 19.
The suspect fled after the incident. Policemen of Calinog launched a “hot pursuit” operation./PN
