ILOILO City – A call center agent walking home was robbed and stabbed early morning yesterday in Jaro district.
Police said two men on a motorcycle attacked the 24-year-old Sofia Camille Gabo of Negros Occidental.
The robbers stabbed Gabo on the face then took her wallet, automated teller machine card and mobile phone.
The men hurriedly left after the robbery.
Gabo was treated at the West Visayas State University Medical Center.
The incident happened a day after riding-in-tandem men robbed a call center agent on Sen. Benigno Aquino Jr. Avenue (formerly Diversion Road) in Mandurriao district. Police said the victim lost P18,000.
It remained unclear as of this writing if the same men were behind the two robbery cases./PN
