CALUYA, Antique – Good news to all single regular employees of Caluya municipal hall, they will be given a special leave and date money amounting to P2,000 pesos on Valentine’s Day.
This was announced by Caluya Mayor Rigil Kent G. Lim on their Facebook page last Thursday afternoon, Feb 10 that he allowed regular single employees to apply for special leave to date on Valentine’s Day. He also offered P2,000.00 date money to spend on their dates.
To verify their dates, Lim noted that they should take a selfie or photos indicating that they are on a date.
This fun initiative was started by the office of the Municipal Administrator, Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), and Office of the Mayor and it was adopted by all Caluya municipal offices.
“With the fun initiative of the Office of the Municipal Administrator, HRMO and the Office of the Municipal Mayor, we would like to express our love and care this Valentine’s Day to our single employees. Sagot na ni mayor ang kasiyahan ng puso niyo. Wag na masad, feel kayo ni Mayor,” Lim said.
Lim further explained that through this initiative he can make employees to be inspired, motivated and spread good vides. This also shows that everyone is important and well-loved.
“I want my employees to be inspired, they are motivated and they spread good vibes. That is the power of love,” Lim added.
Caluya is an island town and a first-class municipality with 18 barangays. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 38,908 people. Making it the 6th most populous municipality in the province of Antique./PN
