BACOLOD City – A carpenter who was believed to have committed suicide was found dead at a furniture shop in Candoni, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the victim as 51-year-old Albino Demasu-ay of Barangay East, Candoni.
Demasu-ay was found by his cousin with a rope tied around his neck at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Demasu-ay’s relatives always saw him drinking alone inside the shop.
Officers of the Candoni municipal police station were investigating the incident./PN
