SILAY CITY, Negros Occidental – De La Salle University (DLSU) proved once again why it remains the gold standard in collegiate volleyball, crushing the University of the East (UE) Red Lady Warriors in straight sets, 25-12, 25-14, 25-14, to capture the Unigames 2025 women’s volleyball crown on Thursday.

Canino, who was later named Most Valuable Player and Best Outside Hitter, spearheaded the offensive onslaught that showcased DLSU’s trademark efficiency and teamwork.
“Sa tanan na nag-organize, salamat sa pag-imbita sa amon ulit, maraming salamat sa warm welcome sa amon,” Canino said, expressing her appreciation for the organizers and fans.
Adding to La Salle’s dominance, Ilongga Amie Provido earned Best Middle Blocker honors, while Shevana Laput took home the Best Opposite Spiker award, completing the team’s sweep of major individual accolades.
