Capiz now under Alert Level 1, do away restrictions

CAPIZ – The whole province of Capiz was placed under Alert Level 1 by the Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 effective March 1.

With this, some restrictions were scrapped. Among these are the restrictions on the movement of the vulnerable sector, curfew, and inbound travelers as stated under Executive Order No. 04 of Governor Esteban Evan Contreras.

Under the order, vulnerable persons including senior citizens, persons with comorbidity, and minors are now allowed outside the residence.

There are no more restrictions on unvaccinated individuals while quarantine and S-Pass requirements were also scrapped.

The province also does away the curfew hours while commercial establishments including malls and restaurants can now operate at full capacity.

Establishments that will open should also present Safety Seal Certificate and Vaccinated Establishment Certificate while their employees should also be vaccinated.

However, it was stressed that minimum health standards in public places should still be strictly followed such as wearing of face masks, physical distancing, and handwashing or using hand sanitizer.

The use of face shields is still a must in hospitals and other medical facilities.

Meanwhile, protocols on granular lockdowns will remain./PN
