CAPIZ – The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Capiz was awarded with the Gawad Serbisyong Mapagkalinga as one of the Top Performing Local Social Welfare and Development Offices (LSWDOs) in Western Visayas.
PSWDO head Nieva Camposano received the award during the awarding ceremony on November 22 at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VI in Molo, Iloilo City.
Capiz achieved the Level 3 functionality in public service – the highest distinction a province could receive. This award is a proof of the quality of service the PSWDO offers to Capiznons.
The basis for the award is the implementation of social protection policies, programs and services in line with the DSWD Memorandum Circular No. 18, Series of 2023.
“Ini nga kadalag-an indi lang pasidungog kundi inspirasyon para padayon nga magpangabudlay ang gobyerno probinsyal sa pagserbisyo sa mga pumuluyo sang Capiz nga naga-atipan sang katawhan,” read part of the provincial government’s statement.
