ILOILO City – Policemen in Lemery, Iloilo arrested a man charged with stealing a vehicle.
From his house in Barangay Poblacion South East Zone, Lemery the 29-year-old Bernie Basug was detained at the municipal police station.
The police served the arrest warrant around 1 p.m. on May 26.
Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 66 issued the arrest warrant.
He also set the suspect’s bail bond at P180,000.
It was unclear as of this writing if Basug was able to post bail for his temporary liberty./PN
