ILOILO City – A carpenter got electrocuted in Barangay Rumbang, Pototan, Iloilo.
Resident Hernanie Depaluyan sustained burns on the head and the body, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Depaluyan was trying to reach for a tamarind fruit when he accidentally touched an open electrical wire around 1:30 p.m. on July 28, police said.
Depaluyan was brought to the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan for treatment./PN
