ILOILO City – A 48-year-old carpenter was found dead along the road in Barangay Dalicanan, Passi City on Sunday.
Jocil Aguilar had hack wounds on the head and body, police said.
A villager, the 63-year-old Bonifacio Espinosa, confessed to killing Aguilar, police said.
Espinosa was detained in the custodial facility of the Passi City police station.
Cyril Tabiling found the body at around 8 a.m., a police report stated.
Espinosa and Aguilar had a fistfight after an altercation over work, investigation showed. Espinosa said he was so mad at the latter he killed him, said the police./PN
