MANILA – Already assured of the 2019 Philippines Football League crown, Ceres-Negros FC hopes to keep its unbeaten record when it faces Mendiola FC 1991 tonight at the Aboitiz Football Park in Lipa, Batangas.
The match between the Busmen and Mendiola is slated at 7 p.m. following the battle between Kaya Futbol Club-Iloilo and Green Archers United FC at 4 p.m.
Ceres-Negros veteran Jose Elmer Porteria said that while the third consecutive League title is already a welcome sight, the Negros Occidental-based football team is determined to finish the tournament with a clean slate.
“After securing the League championship, now our task is to win every single game that is coming,” said Porteria. “We are determined to finish this conference with an unbeaten record.”
