ILOILO City – A truck loaded with 63 boxes of whiskey was intercepted at a checkpoint in Barangay Poblacion, Banate, Iloilo on Saturday.
Driver Ryan Espinosa, 37, of Barangay Talokgangan, Banate claimed he would deliver the items to a certain Bella.
Espinosa was taken to the Banate police station around 9 a.m.
He faces a charge for violating the liquor ban ordered by the provincial government./PN
