BACOLOD City – A man charged with child abuse was arrested in Barangay Chambery, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
Fifty-one-year-old Romilo Calimpong was caught around 8 p.m. on Aug. 17, police said.
Judge Gay Marie Lubigan-Rafael of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 73 (Antipolo City, Rizal) ordered the suspect’s arrest.
Calimpong was detained at the Manapla police station.
A P200,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
