Filipino-German model and actor Clint Bondad is just as ecstatic over the Miss Universe win of his girlfriend Catriona Gray.
In an interview after the coronation night of Miss Universe on Monday in Bangkok, Thailand, Bondad recalled how hard Gray worked to prepare for the pageant.
“My God, it just became real. You know it but it’s a different thing once you realize it and you are there. I think she deserves it the most,” Bondad said.
“When the host said they all worked hard for it, I just shouted from the top of my lungs and said she worked hardest. I just remember how much work she puts into it, how many hours, how many tears she put into it…. She deserves the best,” Bondad said.
The two first met in an elevator in Baguio.
Bondad is a member of the “ASAP” Cover Boys along with Tommy Esguerra, Albie Casiño, Luis Hontiveros, and Tanner Mata.
He has also appeared on ABS-CBN’s “Ipaglaban Mo” and “Pusong Ligaw,” as well as in a number of television commercials. (ABS-CBN News)
