BACOLOD City – A 20-year-old college student was believed to be a victim of accidental electrocution.
Joan Rose Berasan, a resident of Sitio Bita, Barangay Suay, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, was rushed to the hospital but later died while receiving treatment, police said.
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Anthony Grande, chief of the Himamaylan City Police Station, the victim entered her room after taking a shower.
Grande said the victim accidentally stepped on the cable connected to a live wire.
