ILOILO City – A construction worker was stabbed in Sitio Matawhay, Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro district.

The 28-year-old Romar Guarte had two stab wounds on the right side of the body.

He was confined in the West Visayas State University Medical Center on E. Lopez Street, Jaro.

Police identified the suspects as Ivan Zarragosa and a certain “Siakol” Zarragosa.

They allegedly attacked Guarte around 12:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The suspects fled and remained at large as of this writing, police said./PN
