BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man who attempted to rob two men in Barangay Poblacion III, EB Magalona, Negros Occidental.
The victims Marjhon Perasol and Arnel Torres, both 29 years old, work for Rusi Marketing, a police report showed.
Perasol, as a collector, is based in EB Magalona while Torres, a field auditor, is based in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.
While Perasol and Torres were checking customer receipts on Dec. 11, the 28-year-old Benny Boy Ballador of EB Magalona pointed a knife at them and declared holdup.
Perasol fought back, the report stated. He managed to run past Ballador and reported to the EB Magalona police, who immediately responded to the area.
Ballador was detained at the town’s police station’s lockup facility./PN
