ILOILO City – A man and his wife were caught on the strength of an arrest warrant for swindling, a police report showed.
Vicente Victor Rey Catequesta was arrested in Barangay Trapiche, Oton, Iloilo around 10:30 a.m. on July 25, the report added.
His wife Mary Ann was caught in Barangay Santo Domingo, Arevalo an hour later, police said.
Vicente was detained in the lockup cell of the Mandurriao police station.
Mary Ann, meanwhile, was detained in Arevalo police station’s custodial facility.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P3,000 each for their temporary liberty./PN
