BACOLOD City – No bail was recommended for a murder suspect caught in Purok Sampaguita, Barangay Talacagay, Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.

Police arrested the 65-year-old Teodulo Jumawan, resident of the village, on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Demosthenes Manginsay of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Dimataling-Tabina and Pitogo in Zamboanga del Sur dated August 20, 1987, a police report showed.

Jumawan was detained at the Hinoba-an police station lockup facility after his arrest around 11 a.m. on Sept. 21, police said.

The operation was staged by the Hinoba-an police station, led by Senior Inspector Leomel Gonzaga, and Sipalay City police station, led by Chief Inspector Romeo Vargas./PN
