ILOILO City – A motorcycle crashed against the rear of a public utility jeepney at around 8:30 a.m. yesterday along the highway in Barangay Ungka I, Pavia, Iloilo.

Motorcycle driver Albert Armada, 29, of Barangay Bongol, Janiuay town sustained wounds on the face.

Bureau of Fire Protection personnel in Pavia applied first-aid treatment on him and referred him to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao district.

Jaro CPU – Iloilo City jeepney driver Angelo Anggoy, 52, of Dumangas, Iloilo was unharmed.

“I was trying to make a U-turn when I heard a loud thud from behind my jeepney,” Anggoy said.

The motorcycle, which was right behind the jeepney, was also trying to make a U-turn at the time, initial police investigation showed./PN
