CAPIZ – The No. 1 most wanted person of Dao town in this province was apprehended in the town’s Barangay Poblacion Ilawod.
The 39-year-old alias “Budoy”, a resident of Barangay Balucuan, Dao, is facing charges of attempted murder.
He was caught by officers of the Dao Municipal Police Station (MPS) through the strength a warrant of arrest issued and signed by Hon. Joy Rubi Infante-Guilot, presiding judge of the Regional Trial Court, 6th Judicial Region – Branch 18 in Roxas City, Capiz, dated April 21, 2025.
The accused was detained at Dao MPS pending turnover to the court of origin.
A P120,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Following his arrest, Police Captain Rian Ampoyos, officer-in-charge of Dao MPS, assured the public that they will continue their unwavering efforts to eradicate all forms of criminality and to intensify their campaign against crimes.
The Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO), in collaboration with 17 municipal jurisdictions, has been actively enhancing its initiatives to combat the illegal drug trade and to address criminal incidents and serious offenses.
