OIL PRICES at the pump are seen jumping anew by as high as P14.50 per liter next week as the global oil market is gripped by fears amid the Middle East war.
An industry source said Friday, March 20, that diesel prices might increase by P14 to P14.50 a liter. Gasoline prices might range from P7 to P7.50 per liter.
“Worries of severe tightening of supply due to damage to energy infrastructures in the Middle East as the US-Israel war with Iran continues to escalate,” said the source, who requested anonymity.
This week’s price adjustments have pushed diesel prices to over P100 per liter across the country. (Lisbet K. Esmael © Philippine Daily Inquirer)
